The National Survey of Early Care and Education (NSECE) is being conducted by NORC at theUniversityofChicagobetween late October, 2011 and May, 2012. Interviewers are now in the Solano County area. If you are selected for the NSECE sample, we urge you to participate. You may be contacted by email, mail, phone, or in-person. This exciting study will provide the first comprehensive national portrait of the supply and demand for early care and education in our country in over 20 years. The study is sponsored by the Office of Planning, Research, and Evaluation within the Administration for Children and Families, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. With your support, the NSECE will provide a foundation in building state and federal knowledge of critical considerations families face in finding care and a source of accurate, timely data to inform policymaking.

Solano Karaoke Idol – Season 3 – A great success!

Thank you so much to everyone who made Solano Karaoke Idol – Season 3, such a great success. The contestants were so talented. The emcee and judges were fun and entertaining. We were so fortunate to have such supportive sponsors and hardworking volunteers. It all came together and everyone seemed to have a wonderful time.

We had some great raffle and auction items and everyone was very generous in their bids during our auction and the raffle tickets sold like crazy! What a great way to support children and families in Solano County. Kudos to all!!!
